NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – Beginning on Friday September 2, 2022, and running through Monday September 5, 2022, the City of North Myrtle Beach Parks and Recreation Department will be hosting the Top Gun Softball and Baseball All-American/All-star Games at the North Myrtle Beach Park and Sports Complex and Central Park.
This event will attract 2,400 players from all over the southeast to our area. These individuals were selected for being at the top of their game and invited to compete at this event. Players will be placed on teams to compete in games over the three days.
On Friday, all players will check in at the North Myrtle Beach Park and Sports Complex from 12-5 p.m. to receive their jersey, take pictures, mingle with their team, and much more.
That evening from 6-9 p.m., softball players will compete in skills competitions such as home run derby, fastest runner, around the horn, and a bunting competition.
Due to the high number of participants in this event, parking will be extremely limited at the Sports Complex on Friday September 2, 2022. A previous news release indicated the dog parks at the Park & Sports Complex would be closed on Friday. The dog parks will remain open.
