2025 Election Day Voting Underway

City of North Myrtle Beach News Posted on November 04, 2025

NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – The City of North Myrtle Beach reminds all registered voters that Election Day is today, Tuesday, November 4, 2025. Polls are open from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM for the City’s General Election.

This is a nonpartisan municipal election; no party affiliations appear on the ballot.



The offices on the ballot include:

  • Mayor (Term: November 2025 – November 2029)
  • Council Member At-Large (Term: November 2025 – November 2029)
  • Council Member, Ocean Drive Ward (Term: November 2025 – November 2029)
  • Council Member, Windy Hill Ward (Term: November 2025 – November 2029)


Polling Locations

Voters must cast their ballots at the precinct where they are registered. Polling places are open throughout the city at the following locations:

  • Cherry Grove 1: Chapel by the Sea Church – 1051 Sea Mountain Highway
  • Cherry Grove 2: Little River Neck Fire Station #4 – 5345 Little River Neck Road
  • Crescent Beach: J. Bryan Floyd Community Center – 1030 Possum Trot Road
  • Dunes 1: Temporary – Barefoot Resort Conference Center – 2250 Premier Resort Boulevard
  • Nixons 1: North Myrtle Beach High School – 3750 Sea Mountain Highway, Little River
  • Ocean Drive 1: Ocean Drive Fire Station #1 – 1015 2nd Avenue South
  • Ocean Drive 2: North Myrtle Beach Historical Museum – 799 2nd Avenue North
  • Ocean Drive 3: St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church – 801 11th Avenue North
  • Tilly Swamp: Temporary – Barefoot Resort Conference Center – 2250 Premier Resort Boulevard
  • Wampee: Riverside Elementary School – 1283 Highway 57 South, Little River
  • Windy Hill 1: Windy Hill Fire Station #3 – 801 33rd Avenue South
  • Windy Hill 2: Barefoot Resort Conference Center – 2250 Premier Resort Boulevard

Residents may use the North Myrtle Beach Interactive Voting Map to locate their voter precinct, ward, and polling place.


Voting Information

All registered voters in North Myrtle Beach may vote for all offices on the ballot, regardless of ward of residence. For example, voters in the Ocean Drive Ward may vote for candidates in the Windy Hill Ward and vice versa.

However, voters must vote at their assigned precinct.


Election Certification & Runoff

The North Myrtle Beach Election Commission will count absentee ballots at City Hall after the polls close at 7:00 PM.

The certification meeting will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, November 6, 2025, at City Hall to certify the election and review any challenged ballots.

If required, a runoff election will take place on Tuesday, November 18, 2025.
