NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. -- The City of North Myrtle Beach reminds residents that the Special Election for the City of North Myrtle Beach will be held on Tuesday, February 24.
This nonpartisan special election will fill the unexpired Crescent Beach Ward term, which will run from March 2026 through November 2027.
Every registered voter who lives in the City of North Myrtle Beach is able to vote in this Special Election on Tuesday, February 24, at a respective polling location.

Early voting is currently underway and will conclude on Friday, February 20, at the Horry County Voter Registration Office, located at 1515 4th Avenue in Conway. Early voting hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
The polls will open at 7:00 AM on Election Day and close at 7:00 PM. At the close of the polls, the North Myrtle Beach Election Commission will count the absentee ballots at City Hall and report the unofficial results.
The Commission will meet at City Hall at 10:00 AM on Thursday, February 26, 2026, to certify the election and determine the validity of ballots challenged in the election.
Any runoff will be held two weeks after the election on Tuesday, March 10, 2026.
