Parking Registration Information 

Horry County Passes Have Sold Out For The 2026 Season. If you had issues during the sale and left a message with Parking Office, they will be in contact with you in the next few days

PLEASE READ BELOW AS THERE ARE IMPORTANT CHANGES AND UPDATES FOR PARKING REGISTRATIONS FOR THE 2025 SEASON

  • The City’s paid parking season begins March 1, 2026 and ends October 31, 2026.
  • Vehicle parking is now enforced via license plate. Your vehicle license plate will become your digital permit. Physical decals for vehicles are no longer issued. Vehicles parking passes must be renewed each year.

Residents

  • North Myrtle Beach residents need to register every year for parking passes.
  • Your license plate is your digital permit.
  • Register online by clicking the following link Parking Registration you will need the following to complete your registration:
    • Driver’s license with North Myrtle beach residential address.
    • Current (not expired) vehicle or golf cart registration with same residential address.
    • All new golf cart registrations will be in-person at the Parking Building.
    • Golf cart registration renewals, you will need the SCDMV registration.
  • Register in person at 904 2nd Avenue North (the old Santee Cooper building).

Non-Resident Property Owners

  • Your license plate is your digital permit.
  • Vehicles must register every year for parking passes.
  • Register online by clicking the following link Parking Registration you will need:
    • Valid driver’s license.
    • Current (not expired) vehicle registration (ANY STATE) or golf cart registration (must be registered with SCDMV at their North Myrtle Beach property address)
    • Proof of North Myrtle Beach property ownership (The Tax Notice number can be found on the most recent tax bill or by going to the Horry County Treasurer Tax Payments site).
  • Register in person at 904 2nd Avenue North (the old Santee Cooper building).

Horry County Resident Parking Registration:

  • Horry County Passes Have Sold Out For The 2026 Season. If you had issues during the sale and left a message or emailed the Parking Office, they will be in contact with you in the next few days.
  • Your license plate is your digital permit.
  • Five hundred (500) parking registrations at $200.00 each will be available for purchase online on a first come, first served basis to Horry County residents who do not live in or own property in North Myrtle Beach.
  • Complete this registration online by clicking the following link Parking Registration.  (Note: Until registration opens, this link will only bring you to a landing page. On that date, this link will activate and allow registrations to be processed.)
  • No walk-in registration service is available for Horry County registrations. Registration is online only!
  • This registration is good for one year.

More Information for North Myrtle Beach Residents:

A North Myrtle Beach resident whose vehicles (i.e., golf cart, LSV, motorcycle, automobile or pickup truck must completely fit into a standard parking space) are registered to their North Myrtle Beach address may apply for up to two (2) complimentary parking registrations per voting property address. Golf carts must be registered with the SCDMV at the resident’s North Myrtle Beach address. Each household may also purchase one additional parking registration for $200 annually. Vehicle parking registrations will no longer require a decal to be displayed. Your license plate will become your digital permit.

More Information for North Myrtle Beach Non-Resident Property Owners:

North Myrtle Beach nonresident property owners may apply for one (1) complimentary parking registration for their personal vehicle or golf cart. Automobiles do not have to be registered to your North Myrtle Beach property address but must be registered in the property owner’s name. Proof of residential property ownership is required. Each household may also purchase one additional parking registration for $200 annually. Vehicle parking registrations will no longer require a decal to be displayed. The vehicle license plate will become your digital permit.
