Dashing Through The Glow

Be one of the first to see the lights during this appx. two mile non-competitive walk/run through the Great Christmas Light Show. Get in the spirit and wear your best Holiday themed outfit. Prizes will be given for best dressed individual and best dressed family. The walk/run will take place throughout the Great Christmas Light Show route and then end at Santa's Village where you can enjoy a cup of hot chocolate and check out some of the activities.  

Adults (12+) $25 / Youth (11 and under) $10: Entry fee includes a finisher medal and hot chocolate in Santa's Village.

Children in strollers may participate with a paying adult at no cost; medals will not be awarded.

Event starts at 7 pm.  Park Gate Entry: 5:30 pm - 6:45 pm. You must be in the park before 6:45 pm as the road into and out of the park will close to allow fun run participants to pass through. The park will be closed and cleared of all vehicles at 5 pm, do not arrive and enter the park during regular park hours as you will be asked to exit at 5 pm. 

** NEW for 2026 ** Shuttles to the Start Line will run from 5:30 pm - 6:50 pm. Please arrive on time as late arrivals may not be able to access the start line due to pedestrian traffic. You will park your vehicle in the normal location and be shuttled by trolley to the starting line. Trolleys will accommodate wheelchairs, strollers, and wagons. Please plan to arrive early so all participants can be shuttled to the new starting line in the expansion of the NMB Park and Sports Complex. After the event concludes in Santa's Village, you will use the boardwalk to walk back to your vehicle as in previous years. 

You MUST present your ticket at the Park Gate for entry. Tickets will be at the bottom of your emailed receipt, please PRINT your tickets to save time at check-in. If you do not receive the emailed receipt, please reach out to one of the Special Events Supervisors listed below for assistance. 
Please Note: Only registered participants with a ticket will be allowed into the Park. Spectators will NOT be permitted entry.
