Spring Plant Swap

  • Event Date: Wednesday, April 22, 2026 | 1pm - 3pm
  • J. Bryan Floyd Community Center Outdoor Courtyard | 1030 Possum Trot Road, NMB, SC 29582

Calling all plant lovers! North Myrtle Beach Parks & Recreation is hosting their spring plant swap. This is a free event, open to the public. Bring any plants, cuttings, pots, and tools you are willing to part with and swap them for something new to you. Come ready to learn, share, and make new plant loving friends!

There will be a designated "free" area for plants to be donated if you are not looking to swap with others and just need to condense down your collection.

Please be sure to label all items you plan on bringing, with a name and any important care instructions their new owners may need to know.

South Carolina Master Gardeners will be joining us with a short presentation at the start of the event, along with tips on plants that benefit the environment and are native to our area.

Our local NMB Garden Clubs will be present to conversate and answer questions about gardening, and have more information on some of the things they do to keep our City beautiful. As well as club information if you are interested in becoming a part of their club.

The South Carolina Native Plant Society will be present to conversate about their organization, give tips on native vs. invasive plants and to guide what kind of plants we should be incorporating into our local areas.

Keep North Myrtle Beach Beautiful, our city's community-based program to educate and empower the North Myrtle Beach community to personally improve the environment and enhance the quality of life and community pride through beautification, litter prevention, and recycling will be present for anyone that is interested in becoming a volunteer, adopting a beach access or to find out other outreach opportunities to keep our City clean and beautiful.
