5. This is a way for citizens to learn about the different division within our Police Department.  Each week there will be different officers and other personnel speaking on the divisions, subjects and rolls within the police department that they hold.  Participants are able to observe and be a part of some of the training that all officers are required to complete.  Riding along with our officers and observing in our communications center is a requirement.

   Meets once a week for 10 weeks.

   Open to NMB residents first then to surrounding areas.

   Application and Background check must be completed.

   Participants who complete our Citizens Police Academy may be eligible to be part of our upcoming volunteer program
