City sanitation customers who need to dispose of household garbage or other items beyond their normal collection days may bring bagged garbage, recyclables, yard waste, and e-waste to the City’s Solid Waste Transfer Station at 1220 2nd Avenue S. The Transfer Station does not accept waste from contractors.
The Transfer Station is open Monday-Friday, 7am-3pm and Saturday-Sunday, 7am-12pm. (Extended weekend hours may be offered during the peak summer months. Call 843-280-5500 for summer hours.)
