Holiday Events

NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. -- The City of North Myrtle Beach is thrilled to announce a series of festive events to celebrate the holiday season! Join us for a wonderful lineup of activities that will bring joy and togetherness to our community.

THE GREAT CHRISTMAS LIGHT SHOW -- November 25 - December 30

This drive-thru light show featuring over 2 million lights festively displayed along a two-mile drive throughout the North Myrtle Beach Park & Sports Complex is open 5:30 PM - 9:30 PM daily but is closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. There are over 500 custom-made magical light displays, some up to 55 feet tall, and at least 40 of them are animated. Many new lights and new displays!

ADMISSION: $20 per standard vehicle when Santa’s Village is closed and $25 per vehicle when Santa’s Village is open. $50 for oversized vehicles and $100 for charter bus all nights.

SANTA’S VILLAGE: November 29 - December 15 open Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday only. December 19 - 30 open nightly but closed Christmas Day. Some of Santa’s Village attractions require a ticket purchase.

PET PHOTOS WITH SANTA - December 1 and December 14

This weather-permitting event at the Large Dog Park is free. Furry friends love Santa, too! Bring your family pets to meet Santa Claus at the Large Dog Park. Bring your camera and capture the perfect Christmas photo. All well-behaved dogs/pets on leashes are welcome.

CITY CHRISTMAS TREE LIGHTING - December 3

Santa's Village Christmas Drive

Join us in spreading holiday magic and making Christmas wishes come true for children in need this season!

Last year, Santa's Village Christmas Drive brought joy to a record 6,301 children. This year, with applications already pouring in, we are set to help over 8,000 children celebrate a brighter Christmas. We are calling on our community to make this our most impactful year yet.

Through the Santa's Village Christmas Drive, you can make a difference in several ways:

  • Buy a Gift: Bring an unwrapped present to one of our convenient drop-off boxes throughout Horry County and bring joy to a child in need.
  • Adopt an Angel: Visit our designated locations in Horry County to adopt an Angel and provide personalized gifts to brighten a child's holiday.
  • Make a Donation: Donate easily and securely online using your debit card, credit card, or PayPal.
  • Get Involved: Connect with us to explore other ways you can support our mission and help us reach every child on our list.

New, unopened gifts can be delivered to City Hall, the North Myrtle Beach Police Department, all five North Myrtle Beach Fire Stations, the North Myrtle Beach Aquatic & Fitness Center, and the J. Bryan Floyd Community Center. Together, we can ensure that this holiday season is filled with joy, warmth, and giving for all in our community.
