NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. -- Beginning Monday, January 13, the Barefoot Swing Bridge will operate with only one lane of traffic to accommodate annual maintenance and the replacement of the sidewalk.
Temporary traffic control signals will be installed to manage vehicle flow, ensuring safety for both motorists and work crews.
The project is expected to last approximately 60 days. Drivers are encouraged to plan for potential delays, allow extra travel time, and consider alternate routes if possible.
We apologize for any inconvenience this necessary work may cause and appreciate your patience as we complete this essential work to maintain the bridge's safety and functionality.
