NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. -- The South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) is proposing safety improvements along US 17, covering two sections: from Pinehurst Circle to McCorsley Avenue in Little River and from 20th Avenue South to 8th Avenue North in North Myrtle Beach.
To gather public input on the proposed improvements, SCDOT will host a public meeting on Thursday, March 20, from 5 PM to 7 PM at Ocean Drive Elementary School. The meeting will follow a drop-in format, allowing residents to view informational displays and submit written comments. There will be no formal presentation.
Community members are encouraged to attend and provide feedback on the project.
