NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. -- The City of North Myrtle Beach will host a second Short-Term Rental (STR) Information Gathering Event specifically for STR owners and managers on Tuesday, September 30, at J. Bryan Floyd Community Center. The Information Gathering Event will begin at 6 PM.
We encourage all STR owners and managers to attend and share their perspective as we work together to shape responsible, balanced policies.
Thank you to everyone who attended the City of North Myrtle Beach’s first STR Information Gathering Event on Tuesday, June 10. More than 200 residents participated and shared their concerns, priorities, and suggestions regarding STRs in our City.
Based on the feedback received, the City is continuing to explore ways to balance neighborhood quality of life, tourism needs, and property rights. A summary of the results from the first Information Gathering Event is available here.
