NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. -- The Municipal Election Commission of the City of North Myrtle Beach, S.C. announces the election for the City of North Myrtle Beach to be held Tuesday, November 4, 2025. This is a nonpartisan election, and no party affiliation shall be placed on the ballot.
Offices Included in this Election:
- Mayor: November 2025 - November 2029
- Council Member At-Large: November 2025 - November 2029
- Council Member Ocean Drive Ward: November 2025 - November 2029
- Council Member Windy Hill Ward: November 2025 - November 2029
Citizens desiring to be candidates for the above listed office may file at the North Myrtle Beach City Hall with the City Clerk. Books will open for filing on Friday, August 22, 2025, at 12 noon and remain open during regular business hours until 12 noon on Friday, September 5, 2025. The City will be closed on Monday, September 1, 2025, for the Labor Day holiday. The filing fee is $150.00 for Mayor and $75.00 for the office of Council Member.

- Registered Voter
- 18 Years of Age or Older
Instructions:
The following forms must be completed and filed by 12 noon on September 5, 2025: Statement of Candidacy, Candidates Roster. These forms must be completed in the City Clerk's office.
When filing, candidates must bring with them their driver’s license with their current address, voter registration card, and payment for the filing fee.
The Statement of Economic Interest Form and Campaign Disclosure Form must be filed electronically with the State Ethics Commission by the filing deadlines, as stated on the forms and online at https://ethics.sc.gov/.
