NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. -- The North Myrtle Beach City Council met in a regularly scheduled meeting on Monday, May 20 at 7 PM at City Hall.
The items below were on the consent agenda:
A. RESOLUTION: To approve an additional Mutual Aid Agreement for the 2024 Memorial Bike Week Event (APPROVED)
B. MOTION TO APPROVE: The South Atlantic Lifeguard Championships, July 10-11, 2024 (APPROVED)
C. MOTION TO APPROVE: Shamrock-N-Run Race, March 22, 2025 (APPROVED)
D. MOTION TO APPROVE: Main Street Showtime Car Show, April 5, 2025 (APPROVED)
There were three items on the unfinished business portion of the agenda:
A. MOTION TO APPOINT: Appoint seven members to the Plastic Bag Research Committee (APPROVED)
B. ORDINANCE/SECOND READING: Amendment to the Parkway Group Planned Development Agreement District (PDD) revising signage for Arcadia at Grande Dunes North (APPROVED)
C. ORDINANCE/SECOND READING: Amendment to Chapter 22, Vehicles for Hire, of the Code of Ordinances of North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina regarding wrecker services and nonconsensual towing (APPROVED)
