NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. -- Contractors for the City of North Myrtle Beach’s 18th Avenue North Outfall – Landward Drainage Project have mobilized and begun setting up traffic control measures, including signs, cones, and barrels. This work is in preparation for the installation of underground storm drainage piping along North Ocean Boulevard, 16th Avenue North, and 18th Avenue North.
Work on North Ocean Boulevard is anticipated to be completed by April 2025, with the remaining project work scheduled for completion by August 2025.
The traveling public is advised to anticipate potential delays, lane closures, and detours as work progresses along North Ocean Boulevard, 16th Avenue North, and 18th Avenue North. To minimize disruption, we encourage motorists to seek alternate routes whenever possible.
