NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. -- The North Myrtle Beach Police Department is excited to announce that we are now accepting applications for our Citizens Police Academy! This engaging and informative program offers residents a unique opportunity to gain insight into the inner workings of our Police Department.
Details of the Program:
- Application Deadline: Monday, January 27
- Start Date: Thursday, February 6
- Schedule: Every Thursday, 6 PM - 8 PM, for 10 Weeks
Participants will experience a hands-on and behind-the-scenes look at the day-to-day operations of the police department. Topics include patrol procedures, investigations, traffic enforcement, and much more.
Who Can Join?
The Citizens Police Academy is open to residents of North Myrtle Beach first, then will open to surrounding area residents. Participants must be 18 years or older.

Submit your application by January 27 to secure your spot in the class. Space is limited, so do not wait!
