The National Weather Service has provided the City with a detailed wind and weather breakdown for this weekend. Their analysis for late Friday night through Saturday morning is offered with a high level of confidence and calls for severe thunderstorms, wind gusts of 30-40 mph, and the possibility of convection tornadoes. As a result the City has made the decision to postpone the scheduled St. Patrick’s Day Parade and associated events to the following Saturday, March 19, 2022. “There are just too many unknowns and hazards associated with a weather event like this and it’s always better to err on the side of caution,” said City Manager, Mike Mahaney.
